The State of SMEs 2025 has been presented!

We at Unmanned Valley were proud to host and provide the location for the presentation of the eleventh and final Annual Report 'State of SMEs 2025' by the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship last Tuesday.

We at Unmanned Valley were proud hosts and the location for the presentation of the eleventh and final Annual Report ‘State of the SMEs 2025’ by the Dutch Entrepreneurship Committee last Tuesday.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Chairman of MKB-Nederland received the ‘final advice’. We feel honoured to demonstrate what we stand for in practice, together with Remote Visual Inspection (rvi.tools), Stormcatch Robot Authorization, Transmissivity, and Trusk Technology. Thanks to them, we were able to showcase not only drone technology but also simulation possibilities, underwater drones, and robot technology. This allowed us to present an ecosystem where technology, innovation, and the development of SME companies are central.

A special word of thanks to the Dutch Entrepreneurship Committee, of which Her Majesty Queen Maxima is a member, for their years of commitment to Dutch entrepreneurship.

The Committee has been active since 2007, initially as the Council for Microfinancing, and from the start with Her Majesty Queen Máxima. Annually, the Committee published the ‘State of the SMEs’ together with the Central Bureau for Statistics and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. This eleventh annual report was the final advice, in which the Committee advises a national approach to strengthen the business climate. This can be achieved if entrepreneurs show more innovative ambition and if the government acts more decisively. Entrepreneurs must be able to invest in their people, sustainability, further digitalisation, and innovation, the future of their company. The Committee emphasises that it is important for governments to cooperate better, for businesses and the government to work together, and for SME services to better meet regional needs. In ecosystems like Unmanned Valley, where drones, robotics, and autonomous technology are developed, the Committee sees how innovation can directly contribute to higher productivity and more growth opportunities.

In early 2026, the Committee will cease and will be succeeded by a newly established Productivity Council.
